Gender-based violence (GBV) is a pressing challenge that undermines the dignity and rights of women and girls. At the Ministry of Women Affairs, Children’s, and Social Development, we are committed to eradicating GBV through targeted interventions, advocacy, and support systems.
Our initiatives include public awareness campaigns, counseling services, shelters for survivors, and legal aid to ensure justice is served. We also partner with communities, NGOs, and law enforcement agencies to build a society where women and girls feel safe and respected.
Ending GBV requires collective action. Together, we can create a Zamfara where equality, respect, and dignity for all are upheld.
